Kumba Abigail Saquee is a trailblazing leader and the CEO of School District Sierra Leone (SDSL). As a woman in leadership, she has navigated challenges with resilience and determination, breaking barriers to lead a major educational transformation in Sierra Leone. While pursuing her Master’s degree in Sustainable Development at the University of Makeni, she remains committed to driving meaningful change in the education sector.
Kumba’s journey is one of perseverance, passion, and purpose. She understands that improving education requires more than policies—it demands tireless effort, strategic vision, and an unwavering commitment to change. She has dedicated herself to ensuring that every child in Sierra Leone, regardless of background, has access to quality education and the resources they need to succeed.
